My Palate DNA shifted from Umami to Ember after three weeks of Ethiopian food. Is this normal?

I've been eating at Addis Ethiopian Kitchen almost every week. Before that my top dimension was Umami. Now Ember is catching up. The engine seems to be picking up berbere spice, charred edges, and roasted depth. Is the model supposed to move this quickly?

Yes. Recent signals carry more weight, especially when they repeat across a cuisine cluster. Ethiopian dishes can push both Ember and Umami, depending on how much heat, roast, and fermentation you rate positively.

Check the Taste Timeline. It should show which captured dishes drove the shift. Mine had tibs, misir wot, and kitfo as the three strongest signals.
